Proseminar for Bachelor students
During the winter semester 2025/26 (WS 25/26), we are offering again a pro-seminar on 'AI in Climate and Environmental Sciences'. In this pro-seminar, BSc students have the opportunity for a first research-focused exploration of a topic within the wider subject area.

Seminar for Master students
During the summer semester 2025 (SS 2025), we offered a seminar on 'Machine Learning in Climate and Environmental Sciences'. In this seminar, MSc students had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge in an area of machine learning and its applications to climate science and the wider environmental sciences.
Please note: The seminar will not be offered in the upcoming winter semester 2025/26. Information about future seminars will be announced here in due course.
Practical for Master students
During the winter semester 2025/26 (WS 25/26), we are offering again a practical "AI for climate and weather predictions" aimed at understanding and using novel AI architectures for weather and climate prediction. In this practical, students can explore state-of-the-art AI models for weather and climate.
