Ondřej Podsztavek is a machine learning researcher specializing in spatiotemporal modelling, uncertainty quantification, and scientific applications of artificial intelligence. He currently works on machine learning for climate emulation. Prior to joining KIT, he worked as an artificial intelligence researcher at the Czech Technical University in Prague and as a machine learning engineer at ČEPS, the Czech transmission system operator, where he developed time-series forecasting models. He received his Ph.D. from the Czech Technical University in Prague, where his dissertation addressed automatic diagnosis of miscalibrated predictive models.
